Excellent judge based on the small sampling size of one hearing. My brother filed a false police report stating that I violated a TOP by staring him down in front of our building. The charge was farcical on several levels: I had my own TOP versus my brother. Within literally seconds, the judge processed the absurdity of the charge and allowed me to have coincidental contact with my brother until the Family Court trial ended. Subpeonaed footage (that a detective hadn't bothered to look at) would show that the allegation was fabrictaed. I won my Family Case, but without Judge Svetkey's sharp handling of the situation -- legal smarts, and street smarts -- it would have been tricky.
