I would say this judge is probably the worst judge in Nassau county . I was sitting in for a case and the way he spoke he was vulgar disgusting i dont understand how he is even a judge he claims to be a man of god but he is talking about using his gun in the court room and for a judge he has some horrible teeth he should put more effort in his appearance before being a disgusting human being

Honorable girardi is the worst definitely pro plaintiff his words verbatim I know you did it but there is no evidence to prove you did it and I’m giving you 60 days in jail regardless you recovering from fusion surgery let judge girardi last words be known to all I would have taken my big gun and shot all those dogs dead

I still have nightmares about this judge. Very anti-defense and when arraigned in front of him he didn't even listen to the ADA's recommendation for bail and flat out remanded me on a non-violent felony when it was my first offense. Meanwhile a dude charged with Rape in the first degree(a violent felony) received bail. I've had attorneys tell me that he doesn't know what the hell he is doing. You can tell he has an anger problem and tries very hard not to have outbursts when an attorney doesn't agree with him.

Judge Girardi is an amazing jurist. He is very knowledgeable and a fundamentally decent person. I've had lots of cases in front of him over the years. And while I don't always get the result I want, his decisions are well reasoned and he is fair to all sides. In quite a few cases, he asked the DA's office to consider better pleas where he saw that my clients were not being treated fairly. You cannot get better than this Judge unless you're a whiny attorney that cries every time you don't get what you want.

Judge Girardi is by far the WORST judge that I have ever appeared in front of. He is extremely pro-prosecution and seems to harbor disdain for defendants who appear before him. He is prone to yelling and threatening both lawyers and defendants. You will not get a fair shot in front of him. Unfit to be a judge in my opinion
