` New York's Family Court operates on a tiny handful of policy points: child abuse/neglect, illegal relocation, parental alienation, and child support. One can quickly surmise the junk judge from how the judge limits her inquiry into those few points. That means the judge does not know anything else about family law. Another indication of mediocrity is the judge's goal of setting up the litigants to cut their losses and settle their case without trial and without appeal. This technique bedevils the entire nation, and is the scourge of family law everywhere. Facts are supressed, records are not made, and chaos results. Waksberg will always make the wrong decision because she only knows the policy points and only aims for settlement, not trial. The savvy lawyer who presents his case based on those points will win, and the opponent will win on appeal. She has no idea how to rule on objections and cannot cogently write an order. A passerby in the street can do a better job of judging that Waksberg can. However, she is by no means the worst. Waksberg means to do well and aims to create the correct result, but she never does. Where the details of the case get too complex, she shuts down and grabs her head. Thankfully a family court judge in the City of New York is limited to a ten year appointment. Maybe some mayor down the line will not reappoint her, but the risk is always that New Yorkers will get a worse judge, and that is always a possibility given the junk out there that seeks judicial nominations.

Craziest Judge in New York was appointed by her friend DeBlasio.. now being pushed from court to court around New York… they do not know what to do with her… drug testing and mental health evaluations should be adapted by the court system … judges in New York not even drug tested

Totally inappropriate judge. Waksberg hates males, so you have to dress ?? as female in her court Room. Absolutely no respect ??? for law… as a typical liberal she believes the law must work only one way to benefit her internet! Expect nothing but lawlessness and craziness for Hon. Waksberg!
