Katherine K. Lumsden

Judge Lumsden does not have the ability to listen to testimony and review evidence without predjudice. Clearly she makes up her mind early on who she favors and then views everything through that lens. It creates extremely biased outcomes. In her ruling she created a false narrative and supports it on invented evidence in her head. In more than one instance she contradicts critical and basic facts of the case that she either neglected to read or forgot. Either way it makes her incompetent to render fair judgement. She creates more chaos and disturbs the peace. Originally she was not elected to the bench she was appointed and thereafter has stayed due to her incumbent status. There is no way the general public would elect her based on merit. It's obvious she has political affiliations that keep her in power. Many attorneys know this. She needs to be removed from the bench and investigated for fraud. In my case she falsified documents that are used in determining federal funding to the state. Undoubtedly she has a pattern of dabuse of power and discretion.

She is by far the worst judge I have ever had to deal with and it is bluntly obvious she has a distain for black women. My ex completely lied to get a tpo against me so much so that another judge denied signing it but she signed it without a second thought. That same judge was given the case and it was thrown out automatically. Unfortunately after our divorce we were assigned her as our judge and she was rude and biased to me from the very start. He had no evidence to support any of his lies yet she believed every word he said. I had evidence to support I didn't do any of the things he said and she wouldn't even look at it. She constantly cut me off and made rude comments. I would catch my ex in lies and she wouldn't even acknowledge his lies. Our last hearing he didnt even show up and I had been there for hours but instead of him being penalized she allowed him to do a zoom call and continue to lie. She totally disregarded our divorce agreement and did what she saw fit. I will be filing a formal complaint against her for her unprofessionalism during this entire case.

She should not have the honor of being a judge anymore.

If it were possible to rate her a ZERO I would. She is hands down the worst judge I have every had to deal with. She is very biased and incapable of fairly taking in things from both sides. She constantly makes hateful and disrespectful comments about those in front of her on the stand OUT LOUD to them and the entire court room. This woman is EXTREMELY unprofessional and I find that given she is a judge and is supposed to be giving everyone a fair trial, it is absolutely DISGUSTING. I pray I never have to deal with this woman again!

She is the worst judge in civil cases. I personally had my own case as follows: my ex wife applied for PO and only had hearsay from my 4 year old child . I never said anything to my child about the ex wife , My attorney objected to it and lumsden overruled. Case law Says hearsay when objected cannot be the basis for the order . Next issue : Every bit of evidence I tried to tender got ignored . Another instance she asked me for my address while I was on the stand , I gave it to her and she starts talking about another issue . 10 min later she asked me for my address again , I say to her ' I just gave it to you your honor I saw you write it down ' Lumsden then yells " well do you think you can give it to me again? Lord I never saw anything like this in my life " and she gets up and leaves the bench ended the hearing . There are so many more acts of bias by her I cannot go into it here
