When coming back to family court with my case and having her as my judge I did not foresee how this past year would go.

When coming back to family court with my case and having her as my judge I did not foresee how this past year would go. Mrs Kirk is by far the worst judge I have encountered. I’m someone that does my best to advocate for myself because that’s what I have always been taught. Mrs Kirk goes into each case with her mind set. Father hasn’t had to file any evidence on his behalf, and she has simply gone off hear say/his word. I have filed declarations, character letters, progress notes, and so much more. She goes into court not taking any of all my positive stride into consideration. But simple with a bias mindset. She doesn’t listen to both sides.

I witnessed this judge force a mom to coparent with her ex who is under criminal investigation for downloading and distributing child pornography and refuse the Mom’s supervised visitation request. Unbelievable.

She is the worst judge. She down talks everyone that doesn’t know the law , if u ask her a question she looks at u like ur an idiot, doesnt let you speak. Doesn’t let you communicate It looks like she’s unhappy with her own life so she takes her anger on everybody else’s case.

Judge Kristi Kirk often reminds defendants that the “burden of proof is as light as a feather,” yet she demands nothing short of a pound of flesh from petitioners seeking protection. A police report? Dismissed—she insists on the officers themselves. A credible witness? Rejected as hearsay. A letter from a licensed psychiatrist attesting that a minor is too fragile to testify? Once again, dismissed—hearsay, she rules.

Horrible attitude and personality!

Horrible attitude and personality! Her aggression does not match the situation, she is exponentially aggressive. She’s incredibly impatient.

Honorable Kirk is fair.

Honorable Kirk is fair. She is thorough and expects you to be prepared. She has no bias and is guided by the law, not the broad interpretation that Family Law judges often take too far. She is not an activist, she is not pushing an agenda. She is interested in happy children living happy lives, and couples who don't work out to not blame each other. I'm proud of Riverside County for electing her and bringing a good balance to the court.

She expects to be talked to with respect, but gives none.

She expects to be talked to with respect, but gives none. She constantly yells and is rude. Very pro prosecution.
