Judge DarAcy Hall has no business on the bench. Her courtroom and staff is a disorganized mess and she is erratic and all over the place. She screams in the courtroom at lawyers like a drill sergeant to cadets, but clearly doesn’t apply that standard of discipline to her own behavior. There is no room for any legal argument - it’s her way or high way regardless of the law - which she clearly has no knowledge of - maybe she needed less time dancing on MTV and waitressing and more time in law school and legal study. She speaks to lawyers like she is in a street fight in the bronx and has zero professionalism. She is correct in her the tic tok interview - she should have NEVER been appointed to the bench. She should go back to working at the Olive Garden before she harms someone.

She lies on paper. She will do anything to dismiss your case. She acts as an attorney for opposing party.

She was perfectly fine on a status conference. Amendable to the parties' scheduling, polite to counsel and parties. I think some of these comments might be sour grapes. In other cases I have with her, she's granted compassionate release, pushed back on government overreach and is generally firm but fair. I'll report back in as the case progresses, but what more could you ask for in a judge?

Not reflexively pro-Government. Thorough. Knows the papers better than the lawyers who submitted them. Practical. Frames the issues succinctly and provides a roadmap of her reasoning process. Does not suffer fools. Likes cooperation between the parties. If you can resolve something without her input, do it.

Not for the first time I've found that the entries here are completely off, written by lawyers disappointed in the results in their particular case. I had a sentencing recently before Judge Hall and she was great. She had read all the papers, was familiar with the facts, asked great questions and in the end gave a no jail sentence to a defendant who easily could have gotten a couple of years before some other judge. If you do your job and treat her with respect you'll be fine.
