This judge allowed a child predator to have unfettered access to said minor, and willfully ignored multiple mandated reporters with credible and NEW reports of NEW INCIDENTS of abuse to be categorized as already addressed and determined that since it was deemed unfounded once, new incidents were also considered unfounded, regarless of those being seperate, new instances of abuse reported MID TRAIL - and cared not a bit about reviewing the newly presented evidence, but then ordered reunification therapy for the minor and his abuser - in spite of the child articulating to Minor's Counsel that the child had disclosed to her directly. Attorney Sarah Kaber, minor's counsel, is not worth the gum on the under side of the Judge's seat...

Negligent does not even begin to cover it. HJLK fails to consider best interest of the child/ren repeatedly, and would rather split the baby than make a ruling which acknowledges abuse. DQ him. More than one ruling he made has continued to allow physical abuse to child involved, and fails consistently to take into account established abuse.

I dealt with Judge Neel first then the case got transferred to Judge Killoran. I thought he was going to be fair but I was wrong, he side with the other party, when court papers get filed he doesn't read them and yet he makes decisions not on facts but who is friends with him.

He listened to 4 mandated reporters testifying that a minor child reported being abused and still allowed the abuser rights to visitation with the child. Not only rights, but increased the visits from one day a week to three and removed supervised visits to non supervised with the abuser.

I heard rumors about Humboldt Family Courts protecting sex offenders, overlooking abuse and drug crime. I had the previous judge in office removed from our case for his bias to protect abusers. I hoped this new judge would be better but he has estranged me from my son and given the father who is a textbook sexual abuser temporary full custody. This court house should be shut down or heavily monitored by the state. This judge is close with most local attorney’s and leans on patriarchal bias, completely evading evidence of abuse and neglect. Previous comments validate my experience. Please help!

This judge, presiding over a family law trial (on custody and visitation involving accusations of sexual assault of the child by the father), recently decided to modify visitation before coming to a conclusion as to allegations of pedophilia which warranted supervised visits prior to trial - to unsupervised visits, multiple times per week - after having heard multiple witness accounts of child sexual abuse and general neglect by mandated reporters testifying to multiple accounts of disclosures by the victim minor child. ZERO REGARD FOR BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD, AND IGNORED PROFESSIONAL OPINIONS REGARDING ABUSE - WHILE ALSO CONTINUING THE TRIAL TO A DATE SEVERAL WEEKS DOWN THE LINE. "negligent" doesn't even begin to cover it. That's just the tip of the iceberg in Humboldt County Family Law division. seems that the back-office training he is getting for Presiding Judge Greggory Elvine-Kreis is creating another failure in the system, repeating mistakes made routinely by JEK immediately prior to Killoran taking over the FL dept.

THIS JUDGE DOES NOT BELONG IN A FAMILY LAW COURT ROOM. HE GIVES NEW MEANING TO THE PHRASE "SPLIT THE BABY" AND OVERLOOKED GLARING PARENTAL NEGLIGENCE IN SPITE OF EVIDENCE.
