He is horrible. Absolutely horrible and seems very lazy. The story is he always has been. He is about to retire but still continues his unfair and biased rulings. The system is corrupt but he really is something else. These judges ordering people to pay the other party in divorce counsel fees due to “bad faith” when there is absolutely no proof of such. These judges complain about things brought before them and how busy they are when they are getting paid and people are concerned about their children’s safety. Saying things like people need to be taught a lesson. I also heard he’s been divorced a few times himself. Woman hater. He will see his day of judgment when God judges him.

Having been in front of Judge Maron three times in family court, I concur with other reviews in that this judge is lazy and because of that he is perpetually ill-informed as to cases before him. Do not go pro-se in front of him - especially if the other party has representation. He will side with a lawyer in every single instance no matter what the circumstances. Found that out first hand, and when I went back WITH a lawyer, all of a sudden the same arguments that were rejected as a pro-se were now considered worthy when stated by counsel. He is all that is wrong with the system writ large, and I hope he retires soon and goes away.

`Awful as a Family Court Judge. Has stripped away many FATHER’S rights to see their own children without any evidence. Refuses to educate himself on past or current briefs/history. He is a disgrace to the Family Court system and has permanently destroyed many children’s/family’s lives.

There were two rulings by a prior judge in the father's favor in this parental alienation case where the child was kept from him by the mother who continued to defy the court against established visitation orders. The case was transferred to Judge Maron who seemed to know nothing about it and did not educate himself regarding the case as it appeared he did not read any of the motions or documents in front of him and ruled only according to the (allegedly paid off) court therapist's opinion -an "opinion" gleaned after only two meetings with father and child - in order to cover his own posterior thereby disregarding proper court procedure and due process and permanently barring this father from ever seeing his own child with absolutely no evidence of any abusive, criminal or otherwise bad behavior - there were never any orders of protection or any other orders of any kind besides the orders from the court for the mother to comply with the father's visitation rights. The father's (and his child's) rights were stripped from them as this ruling came even without a hearing. The father only wanted his rightful visitation enforced. Terrible inept and lazy judge.

Honorable Judge Maron is fair in terms of wanting to see evidence/facts and not making any unjust decisions or showing biasness. While I will not disclose the nature of my case, I can say this, I am thankful for the ruling he made v. what the other party requested in their filing. I have heard scary stories about situations like mine. But I thank God daily that Judge Maron was the one presiding over my case that day. I am forever grateful for his discernment as not only a Judge but as a human being. With my situation having been as delicate as it was, had I had a judge who didn’t truly care; my situation would have gone very differently. There are still judges who DO in fact care and who are not corrupt; Judge Maron is one of those judges. God Bless you.
