Leland Davis

I thought what I witnessed was an anomaly until I read the other reviews. It is not. Judge Davis seems to get off on humiliating and utterly disrespecting attorneys in his courtroom.

Leland Davis III is an emotional mess. Who appointed this nut job to be a judge?

LELAND DAVIS, III, IS SUCH A FAIR JUDGE. I'M COUNSEL IN A PROBATE MATTER FOR BARBARA LIPTON AND HE IS SO JUST. MORE JUDGES SUCH AS THIS REQUIRED. NO GAMES, NO BAD-MOUTHING ATTORNEYS. JUST FOCUSED ON THE MERITS OF THE CASE AND GUIDING ALL ATTORNEYS TO DO THE RIGHT THING. ONE'D THINK A JUDGE WOULD FALL ASLEEP IN BORING LITIGATION - BUT HE IS AWAKE AND READING ALL THE DENSE, INTENSIVE MATERIAL PRESENTED TO HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME. VERY GOOD JUDGE - CALIFORNIA NEEDS MORE SIMILAR JUDGES.

Judge Davis began the proceeding by yelling at someone in the courtroom at the top of his lungs. What a bizarre way to act as a judge.

If you ever wanted to know what it's like to experience life in a Russian gulag appear in Judge Davis's court. If he does not yell at you in particular you will witness him dress down an attorney or a defendant or a civil litigant. It is extraordinary. Judge Davis is so angry, so hostile (to everyone, I'll give him that much, he doesn't pick on one side) you have to wonder what made this man this way. But you also have to lament the fact thatJudge Davis is a superior court judge and we all have to be subjected to his hostility and crankiness. Don't feel bad if he ruins your day. He ruins everyone's day.

He is very biased, condemns before inquiry, a bully, commits hate crime, he commits crime during a hearing, violates federal, state laws, and procedural rules, breach of oath of office, he should leave the bench, completely unsuitable to be a judge. He shows off, but has no knowledge of the facts or legal issues at hand. All in all, a thorough bully.
