As a prosecutor, I've never seen such an evil person sitting on the bench. [Redacted] Bias wouldn't even be a word to describe her. He biggest accomplishments include putting people she doesn't like behind bars for life, and demeaning both prosecutors and defense lawyers alike. As a prosecutor, I never imagined I would write such a review of a district court judge.

Simply arbitrary and capricious. Reade obviously has her mind made up before even looking at the docket, and doesn't bother analyzing actual legal arguments.

Judge Reade is a seriously compromised person who will not ever recuse herself, regardless of precedent. On very significant occasions she has been involved in planning government action against private companies, allowing her husband to profit from trading on non-public information.

Could someone please contact me about some conflict of interest concerns pertaining to Linda Reade. I have a friend that many feel he was sentenced to more time than he deserved. Many feel that Reade harshly convicted my friend compared to other convicts that did much worse crime and received minor sentencing. This kind of corruption must be stopped. If I could rate this judge a zero, I would. Honorable Linda R. Reade is the exact opposite of honorable. She's a liar and a cheat. For that, my son's grandfather is behind bars for her wicked ways. She did not meet the burden of proving; instead, threatening the co-conspirators to lie in return for a shorter sentence. The co-conspirators have been released while my father-in-law has 15 years to go over the growth of Marajuana by which none was sampled and tested for observable root formation.

I seen this judge rewrite the facts of a case and let a government official who violated a persons rights and violated policies walk free. She shielded the government worker like it was one of her good friends and completely railroaded the citizen who went thru hell for the actions of this criminal. She has no right to preside over any case, EVER!

she thinks that she can say or do anything she wants. she is rude, hateful and judgemental to people she sentences to prison and she doesn't care about anything they have to say

Linda is the opposite of what honorable is, a complete hypocrite.

This woman is a disgrace to the judicial system. A judge who expects everyone to rise for her but she lies. She goes on and on about how she has to be across the board with her sentences but is complete bs. She is the most biased judge I have ever seen. She is an embarassment!!

She is a indecent human being who doesn't have any remorse or empathy. She lies. She doesn't care who you actually are. She sees a criminal that committed a crime and punishes you without any hope. She allows young classroom kids from a school to sit in on a peraons sentencing. And throw the book at the peraon to either prove a point or to show who's boss. She doesnt care if the childerens father or mother is being ripped away from the families everyday life. She is evil and all of her cases needs to be relooked at by a proper judge who actually does their job. She should rott in prison for at least a few years an see what its like so go through the stuggle and pain.

Judge Reade is a vengeful, miserable person - and an embarrassment to the bench. She should not be in The Robing Room - she needs to be removed of her robe and put out to pasture. If you apply the ripple effect to the lives she has ruined - then she will have the guilt of thousands and thousands of innocent people on her 'conscience'. I believe there is reward and punishment after death - here punishment will be long - and hopefully she will not be given the chance to repent. Yes, strong words - deserved for a person who has abused the trust of the people.

She is a very rude and obnoxious person. Absolutely unfair and doesn't care what the facts are. This person needs to retire.

Judge Reade is an obviously unhappy woman with an extremely foul temper. After working alongside her for over two years, I can only say that I pity those having to appear in her courtroom on one of her many 'bad' days. This judge will ruin someones life because her personal life wasn't working out on a particular day. There are, however, a certain few 'special' attorneys whose clients are treated very differently due these lawyers connection to the judge. Perhaps it's time for her to consider retirement...?

Having clerked for six different judges over my career, I can unequivocally say that Judge Reade is simply the most malicious person I've encountered in a courtroom. I truly pity litigants and defendants forced to appear in her courtroom as her vindictive nature and vile temper are absolutely unpredictable. Judge Reade does not recognize anything remotely resembling equality under the law, and her mood swings create a very intimidating workplace.

the only time I have ever been in this woman's court, ((I'm a local Minister for a christian group that helps the children of imates)) I have never been more ashamed, in my entire life, of a government Officers treatment of her fellow human beings. She is, in my opinion, bereft of any ability to feel compassion, remorse or kindness for any human being who is accused of a crime. mind you not convicted just accused of wrongdoing. it seems that Lord Reade's courtroom is her fiefdom not a place that protects the rights and lives of our fellow citizens. she was so rude in fact that she insulted the man sitting right beside me, because the look on his face so displeased her Majesty..... like really? to put it simply she is an evil blight upon our nation, she takes our mothers, fathers, children, our very flesh and blood and goes above and beyond the bar to set maximum sentences for non violent offenders. she is a defiler of Justice not a hero of it. 500 years ago, military officers would upend a drum on the battlefield. They'd sit at it and dispense summary justice. Decisions were quick, punishments severe; appeals denied. Those who came to a drumhead were doomed. That my friends is what Linda Reade runs, A drumhead court in our town and our loved ones have paid with their freedom, because in Reade's eyes they were guilty before they set foot in that courtroom. I think it satisfies her, the pain and the hurt of others that is. she must feel good when she says or commits her hateful actions because she continues to do it. if thats not evil, then in Christs name I dont know what is.

It doesn't matter to her if a CI has lied about someone, she is going to take their word. She doesn't care what a person has to say, and it isn't going to help anyone for them to say anything. She is hateful, awful and has no conscience.

All I do know is if she is your judge you may as well kiss your behind goodbye. She doesn't care about any type of family life for you. She doesn't have a soul as far as I am concerned.

Reade is a disgrace to the US justice system. She should be prosecuted for misconduct and insider trading and thrown in the hole with the key lost.
