Extremely biased, favoring the landlord.. She upheld all objections from the landlord's attorney, while most objections from the tenant's attorney were overruled, which is unfair!

She is the worst & should be recalled. She ignores facts, favors corporations over the little guy, misconstrues factual information & makes stuff up. She won't listen when one tries to explain things, even when presented with the facts. She is not to be trusted to be fair & unbiased in her judgements.

Only a. skinned arrogant being who believes their religion is above the law of the land would provide over 1 star for a fraud acting in our government. Analyze these comments if your reading best believe the FBI do. AND Trust our departments work in Tandam.

I represented a landlord in a commercial tenant eviction during the Covid-19 pandemic that resulted in a bench trial. I generally found the judge to be competent, fair and quite even-tempered, even after she ultimately ruled against my client in what was arguably an error of law, but not without providing a legal rationale. I saw no obvious prejudice towards or against the landlord or tenant and would try a case before her again.

She is the epitome of prejudice discriminatory condescending horrible in her position. In my case the defense was out of control, threatening everyone, name calling and not sticking to the facts. Because we were black we had no chance to have a fair case. The defendant was violent against other tenants, threatening and even tried to run other black tenants over. Instead of her managing her courtroom she allowed him to do and say whatever he wanted to. Her judgment came in against us. Makes no sense. Even the court clerk said she thought she had a bad neighbor and now sees she doesn’t. This woman is no judge. She basically said the dangerous tenant would have to kill or injure one of us or another tenant for us to get him out. This whole UD case was a circus. Worse experience of my court experiences. And i work in the legal field. She was not fair and legal. She has to be the worst judge i have ever stood before. If you get her, change judges if you are of color.

Hard to believe this woman is a Judge. She was late. When she did arrive she declared everyone had better hurry up. She interrupted Plaintiffs to take other cases in front of them. Did not allow Plaintiff anywhere near the same time to speak as shouty, rude, interrupting Defendant. She obviously did not study the exhibits thoroughly. A contract was obviously breached, but Defendant received no judgement against them. She seemed delighted to believe obvious lies.

She is incompetent and biased in my opinion. She is nasty and unfair. She seems to dislike lawyers as plaintiffs in small claims. She did everything to thwart my case. I need to find out what economic or political ties she has to make her so biased.

Absolutely awful judge. She didn’t even look at the evidence and believed every single lie that came out of the landlord’s mouth. Multiple reviews have mentioned that she automatically sided with landlords, and that was my experience as well. I literally had three lawyers read over my lease and they all agreed that the lease was illegal. The judge literally said “I have never seen this kind of language in a lease before!” But as soon as the landlord pulled out some lies and excuses, she absolutely ate it up. I couldn’t believe it! Don’t expect a fair trial with Lisa Sepe-Wiesenfeld. You won’t get one.
