Lorna A. Alksne

Unfortunately I had Lorna Alksne appointed as the arbitrator in my case against my previous employer. She made no attempts to read my arguments or consider my documentation and instead relied entirely on the Respondent’s legal briefs exhibiting extreme bias. She was rude and dismissive and audaciously claimed she should remain on as arbitrator for legal claims outside of her state of jurisdiction.

Judge Alksne (Ret.) was an excellent Judge. Conscientious, hard working, very smart and experienced. In her Family Law assignments she was excellent and very proactive in getting matters resolved. She will do very well as a private mediator. I consider her one of our top two FL Judges/mediators in San Diego County.
