Judge Lorraine Kelly should not be allowed to preside over cases where children are involved. It seems as though if one person makes her mad that she carries that with her all day. My daughter had court with her last week trying to get reunification with her kids and she changed the goal to termination and put her down as non compliant. She didn't want to listen to the caseworker or public defender. She didn't have all the facts yet but changed the goal without a care. Too many parents get their rights terminated for reasons like that. These poor kids are ripped from their parents and traumatized through the system. Sometimes given to people who abuse them. Siblings are split up and supposed to have visitation with each other but don't except maybe by zoom 10 minutes a week. Their not placed with relatives cause they want them in foster care for the money. So not only don't they see their mom but not even their grandmother, great grandmother,uncles, aunt, their animals, their friends. They get switched schools. What if god forbid somebody dies or their beloved pet. They will never get to see them again and that will always haunt them. Yet this judge didn't care about facts. She don't care if kids ever see their parents again. The system is so corrupt. The judge should do her research and realize that the sheriff's office is the one who removes the children and because of that pinellas county is one of the highest in the state and their given to Eckerd who were being investigated for neglect so maybe they shouldn't take their job so lightly and think that their better staying in foster care. Nothing is discussed as to how 2 of her kids were abused or how they put her son on the wrong medication that made him have headaches and his eyes were hurting but do they get charged with neglect. They've been gone a year and now going till August but with her changing it to termination I feel like that's what she wants and no matter what my daughter does it won't help
