Judge Duel has runind a good part of this county's live he is one sided don't listen to the people they have in court taken happy children from their loving family's and costing us everything he said my husband and I signed our rights over on our son not at all true they tricked us saying something totally different we didn't even get a chance to fight back on any of it because of what he did my husband gave up and died and I haven't seen my son since 2018 cuz I don't know where he is I have no right to know I'm told

On May 3rd 2017 Judge Louis Duel heard and executed rulings that the wards in an emergency order appointing guardians case # PG-2017-32 would suffer irreparable harm without any evidence provided and and furthermore no evidence ever provided to this date in order to have the children removed from their father. The Logan county district court under the authority of of Judge duel recused itself on July 12th 2016 from case # CF-2016-52. This was in part due to his personal relationship with the victims family, [Redacted by Ed.] who was the mother of the victim in that case and is also the petitioner of the above emergency order appointing guardians. This is a conflict of interest and bias. There should have been a recusal on this case as well due to his personal relationship with the petitioner.

I was told Judge Duel was a fair person, however I have learned how he is on my own. Families being destroyed that should never even be in court. Babies taken from families for NO reason. Parents being punished. We sold our home, we have so much debt due to the only thing they want to do is push things out as long as possible. There are not two sides to any story with judge duel. You do not even get to defend yourself against accusation even with an attorney. Our attorney objected to something and was told no you don’t. The ADA he has sitting next to him is allowed to do whatever she would like including lying in court. Judge Duel is not a fair judge. I’m sad I had to experience anything to do with him. I am glad to see him being moved as I’m sure many others are.

Going on two years without visitation of my minor daughter. Taking into consideration, changes made from COVID 19 Judge Duel has failed to issue a contempt order even after issuing a visitation order. He is a total failure as a judge granting special maternal rights while completely ignoring fraternal rights, so it seems.
