This judge knows her patent law. Appears to be better prepared on the case than every lawyer in the room.
She is long past her prime, and needs to retire.
Super-smart, highly conscientous, a true prince of the bench (and I say "prince" because "princess" is pejorative). Her Proposition 187 rulings in 1994-95 all were upheld by the Ninth Circuit.
Her ruling on Prop 187 was one of the greatest miscarriages of Justice in history. One of the elites who feels that democracy only applies when I say so.
Gives serious consideration to issues. Fair trial provided. Has senior status and so not always available, even if initially assigned to the case.
Demanding but gets the law right -- always. You had better know the details of your case and the controlling law before appearing before her, or she will cut you to the quick.
