I have to say that I was a bit worried after reading these comments about Judge Baber, however my situation was extremely different. Judge Baber understood the rules and the law and applied them effectively! One particular thing I noticed that he did, he actually kept to the plaintiff complaint and didn't allow for them to venture into more lies as they have done in a different court where that judge allowed for the plaintiff to paint a story totally different than her complaint and even allowed that plaintiff to read from a scribbled up paper in order to remember her lies. Another thing I noticed, he had asked the plaintiff how were you able to receive a restraining order if the two never lived together, of course the plaintiff lied and I wanted so bad to object but I'm pro-se so I just remained quiet. So, I still have no idea how these family members are able to obtain a restraining order against me and I don't live with any of them. But enough about my case, this judge did a great job in my opinion and I respect him for that.

No court room decorum, no courtesy.

No court room decorum, no courtesy. Worst judge ever. Needs to retire. Takes cigarette breaks way to often and makes people wait.

Ive read the reviews and frankly, he's not a bad judge.

Ive read the reviews and frankly, he's not a bad judge. Runs an orderly courtroom, doesnt tolerate bs. Great calls as to objections. His decision and legal reasoning, however, left much to be desired. But I guess thats what appeals courts are for
