Desperately needs to retire. Doesnt know the law or how to apply it. Is extremely biased and aggressive towards victims of abuse and doesnt seem to understand the textbook definition coercive control. His decisions and how he comes to this is going to get someone killed one of these days.

Terrible. Just terrible.

Judge Noonan does not know the law, how to implement it, and abuses discretion. He acknowledged coercive control to an excessive degree, acknowledged a history and pattern of abuse, and understand Plaintiff's fear of harm by imminent retaliation by Defendant, yet still denied an extension of a restraining order contradicting himself on his own understanding of coercive control, failing to apply its legal definition to the action at hand, and calling the imminent fear "speculation" despite acknowledged Defendant had been physically violent with Plaintiff's in the past and is capable of such violence again. Plaintiff will be filling a formal complaint with the CJC and an appeal on his ruling today as it was dangerous and innapropriate.

Judge Noonan is as biased as they come. He might as well be a member of the police force - he will ALWAYS take the police's side. He used to defend corrupt cops when he was in private practice. Awful Judge.

a great judge, one of the best Honorables I've worked with. Very fair and thorough. would recommend him for higher judicial positions in state court.
