Had him in a criminal trial. Clearly the worst judge that I have ever tried a case before. I am glad to see that he is on the civil bench, as he can do less damage there. Please don't look at the fact that he was an ex Public Defender, that will totally mislead you. If you don't have your CCP 170.6 in hand when assigned to this clown, you are bordering on malpractice.

Third class Judge Mark E Windham, Department 26, his brain is not working. Falsely declared my friend "Sushant Gupta" a Vexatious litigant, made him suicidal, he has left work, and is taking depression medication because of this Judge. Judge was shouting on him, out of no reason. His Department, Department 26 play politics with litigants, purposely made Sushant Gupta file preemptory challenge late, so that it is rejected and denied. This Judge is a third class rotten judge, and should be removed from the bench on a immediate basis. He doesn't use his brain, doesn't have a brain, his decisions are biased and prejudiced, thinks himself as a superstar, arrogant, and condescending. If you get this judge to decide on your case, please take a preemptory challenge on a immediate basis. Complaints were made to Presiding judges - "Samantha P Jessner, and Judge Sergio C. Horrid judge and also an attention-seeking missile. He loved the camera during the Durst trial not unlike Ito/OJ. It's unfortunate and disgraceful how he seems unable to manage his courtroom and allows multiple people to speak at once constantly without thought of the court reporters and the historical record.

I will say that he has improved in the way of his temperament by what I can tell from each of your responses. Even though he still displays the erroneous behavior and has little respect for the true argument of your specific case. He perverts the law into his own spin. Just like all of your responses. Very unethical and horrible demeanor. He appears to be more aligned with a predetermined outcome than doing the work of understanding a case and the law. Do not allow this guy to hear your case he is there for one purpose and that is to ensure the case ends the way his handlers tell him.

"Judge" is not worthy of the title. He ran unopposed & that's the only reason he is a judge. Watch his behavior in the Durst case for example. Absolutely arrogant & disgraceful! No fair judge would permit even 1/2 of the prosecutor's questioning to go on for so long. A true pro-prosecution. If you get this Judge as a defendant in a criminal case find a way to remove him for cause immediately!

Shockingly unqualified to be sitting pro tem in Division Three of the Court of Appeal thru December 10, 2021. He shamelessly distorts the facts and the law. I feel sorry for those whose lives/interests are placed before him. He is a fraud; it is plain to see.
