Mark T. Slate

This tyrant has my friend Jacob Sell unlawfully jailed for using his 1st Amendment right to redress his grievances. The County charged him with multiple counts of bail jumping (bail conditions involved not calling the police, which is an unconstitutional bail condition) and unlawful use of phone. Other counties charged Jacob with the same, but they gave him $250 bail. Tyrant Slate set bail at $10,000 despite the prosecutor's recommendation of $500 bail. Tyrant Slate, I hope your dog knows what you're up to. He'd surely disapprove. (This Tyrant clown named his dog "Justice.") What a miscarriage of justice. I hope Jabob wins all his lawsuits against you.

I am a victim of gender and socioeconomic biases from Judge Mark Slate…Comparing my case to a wealthy male counterpart who had the same charge as me (with more charges related to his charge than I had to mine—we both had 3rd DUI charges) was given lesser time for IID and revocation (only 2 years) and no sentence of probation. I, female, was given 2 years probation and 3 years license revocation, 3 years IID installation. Why do I feel I was discriminated against in my case? There were 6 years between the male counterparts 2nd and 3rd DUI and 16 years between my 2nd and 3rd DUIs. My male counterpart also has a history of domestic violence convictions and I do not. I was ordered to pay roughly 2100.00 in fees and fines and my male counterpart was ordered to pay roughly 2600.00 in fines. My male counterpart was granted more liberties than me. This is unfair and biased sentencing. My male counterpart was sentenced AFTER I was sentenced. This is unfair, impartial, and clearly shows this judge is biased. I would also like to note that I am a disabled woman and my male counterpart is not disabled.
