This judge presided over my ex's plea agreement pretrial conference for domestic battery. I wrote a victim impact statement and attended but she didn't know who I was. She addressed me (generally, because I was not identified) and said that she read it and appreciated it. She demonstrated a kind and gentle demeanor that I haven't seen from many judges.
