On the whole, considering the fact that my cases involved national security issues and a very complex civil conspiracy from my federal whistleblowing activities and the actors involved, Judge McLaughlin did her best. I had her dismissals overturned by the Third Circuit of Appeals.
I was before this judge several times on multiple motions for a heavily litigated complex civil matter. She would deny motions brought by my client without even an opposition being filed by the opposing attorney. She would grant motions for the opposing party without factual or legal basis to do so. She took months to rule on motions. Her opinions were not intellectually honest which suggested to me a bias against my client and/or for the opposing party. In decades of practice, I have never seen such disregard for the law, facts and our justice system by a judge.
Now I told Judge Mclaughlin that the father of their child allowed a broom to be throwing at the child from his current live in girlfriend and she still allows this fool to have 9 hrs of unsupervised visits and allow the child to still go to the father's home. She told us in court that the girlfriend wasn't allowed to be around, but DUH it don't matter if it isn't in BLACK N WHITE. come one come on.. So what i'm the defendant in a criminal case. She don't know the facts of the store so don't assume im actually the defendent in the case. Also, if she didn't want to take in consideration of why i didn't want my child around him at the moment then WHY AND THE HECK SHE TOOK IN CONSIDERATION OF HIS FALSE FILING. My child father said I WAS UNFIT that is why he wanted custody. We went to court and all he talked about is visitations. I wrote a letter and faxed it over within a hr after leaving from in front of her and here now a wk later no response.. This is a situation waiting to explode. Then guess who will be in trouble.. If she read any paper work on me as being a defendant in a criminal case she would know i beat 5 charges out of 6 and appealing the 6th charge.
I have had a few cases in front of Judge McLaughlin, although they never reached trial. I always found her to be fair and intelligent, and she writes well-reasoned opinions.
A very fine judge. Fair, accomodating and intelligent. Treats everyone civilly and professionally. I am always pleased when one of my cases is assigned to her.

Judge McLaughlin should not be sitting on the bench. She is not titled for the defendants, rather, she is sitting on the defendant's side, this, despite having record award verdicts winners as plaintiffs, she remains in favor of the defendants. She play way too much into the politics and doesn't follow the law. She does not move her caseload along and chooses when and which motions she will decide. She is clearly bias and acts as defense counsel for the defense in civil litigation. She makes many, many errors in the law and excercises a CLEAR ABUSE OF DISCRETION. She has intervened in matters outside of her jurisdiction and inserted herself in matters where it does not concern her. People come to the Federal Courthouse for justice, she imposes injustices on them! I await the day she is removed from the bench!
Great judge. Friendly, flexible, even-handed. When I see that one of my cases has been assigned to her, I practically cheer.
A superior mind and possessed of an excellent temperament. One of the very best; she belongs on the Federal bench.
There is no more courteous or fair judge in any District Court
Judge McLaughlin is a thoughtful jurist who gives careful consideration to all issues. Her Honor is both evenhanded and fair in the manner in which she administers justice. If only more judges were like Her Honor....
