Smart, pleasant, fair Judge who actually works hard every day. A great asset to the 18th.
Professional, pleasant, uses common sense and works hard. Never demeaning and always thoughtful in her decisions.
I cannot think of one judge I would prefer to be in front of. Judge Chase is always even tempered and polite. When Judge Chase first took the criminal bench without any prior criminal law practice experience, I watched her quickly understand and rule on new case law regarding NEBBIA holds. Judge Chase understands the law, interprets it correctly, and administers it fairly. 10 out of 10
Judge Chase is a pleasure to practice in front of-- even tempered, respectful fo the parties and attorneys, and truly listens to the testimony. She follows the law and does not bring any personal bias to the bench.
She is an outstanding Jurist and a credit to the Bench and Bar.
Judge Chase is a one of those individuals who hold judicial office for all the right reasons. She is extremely hard working, smart, inciteful and decisive. She is great asset to the state of Florida and I, along with every lawyer I know, hold her in the highest regard. Michael C. Sasso
I have been in front of Judge Chase on a variety of different types of cases and with various factual scenarios. Even when I had an egregious or difficult facts, Judge Chase always approached the parties and their attorneys with grace, patience, and fairness.
Judge Chase is an excellent trial judge. She is knowledgeable of the law and prompt with her rulings. Judge Chase is very respectful to the attorneys and litigants who appear before her.
Always on time, respectful of lawyers’ time and litigants’ expense. Knowledgeable in every division. Always courteous and fair to both sides. Seminole’s best judge, IMO.
Guardianship and probate is a specialized field in which she lacks understanding of the how to apply rules and statutes in adversarial proceeding. I have sat in Judge Chase's court room and witnessed her denying an alleged ward her request for independent counsel. She needs to be educated in this area of law before she causes the elder community injury.
