Melissa Julian

Judge Julian was the first judge and only unbiased Judge I experienced in the 4 years of trying to fight through the courts for my son. I wish she had remained the judge on my case during my trial. She is fair in her ruling and listens to each party/ reviews evidence fairly.

Lazy. Appalling temperament, intellectually challenged. Whether gross immaturity or [Redacted by Ed.] (or both), this justice has no business on the taxpayer’s bench. [Redacted by Ed.] Won’t ever vote for her retention, nor will my likeminded peers & colleagues. Are these judges vetted [Redacted by Ed.]

Judge Melissa Iyer Julian is by far one of the best Superior Court Judges in Maricopa County. Superior intellect, compassion, and the necessary judicial temperament to deal with complex issues, and the litigants and lawyers who appear in her court. She has a deep abiding respect for the law and ensuring that everyone who appears in her court receives equal justice under the law.

Lazy. Does not review case records when ruling after trial. Instructed other party too take action which they never did and did nothing about it. Seemed interested in only forcing a settlement.

Totally incompetent and abusive attitude

Judge is not evenhanded. Abusive and angry is her opinions. Often initiates and engages in argument and doesn’t understand her job is to be a referee. Allows lawyers to insult and demean each other and does nothing to control her courtroom. She is too inexperienced as a judge to govern controversies and instead chooses to participate. She should be demoted to a commissioner until she gains experience and evenhandedness.

Great Judge, very patient, calm, thorough and detail oriented
