NEVER consented to U.S. Magistrate Judge Jurisdiction & go fig. corruption of 10th Cir. I get Magistrate Judge Michael E. Hegarty AGAIN ....Although this Mag. easily granted summary judgments to previous discriminative employers I filed Title VII suits against, he had no problem not recusing himself and following 28 U.S Code Sect.455(a-b)- “Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned. He shall also disqualify himself in the following circumstances: Where he has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party.” Colorado SYSTEM, no Justice for all AKA Stapleton Spoils System/ undercover KKK)

Magistrate Hegarty took time and asked questions to insure he understood the unique details of our particular issue to help settle.

I have had a number of cases before Magistrate Hegarty. His rulings are entirely result-oriented & predictable. He will go out of his way to twist the law in order to support the side that he favors. He is completely unhelpful in settlement negotiations, i.e., much more interested in telling us his opinions than trying to settle the case -- and, he has proved to be very wrong about the settlement value of the case every time.

Hegarty is an excellent jurist who is personable and compassionate in settlement conferences, fair on discovery issues, and respectful to ordinary people appearing before him. I can't think of a better judge

Wrongly and regularly associates being stupid & corrupt with being reasonable; poorly prepared to rule, decisions are convoluted and badly written; highly predictable, one of those judges that you know how they will rule before a case is even heard; easily bamboozled and not swayed by actual evidence.

Excellent judge, fair to all (even to us insurance companies!). Very smart, very pleasant to deal with, very effective. I look forward to the day that he's an Article III judge.

I've had a couple of complex cases before Judge Hegarty, one as plaintiff, one as defendant. He's sharp and hardworking, cuts through nonsense (even mine!), and works hard to get cases settled. As even and respectful a temperament as I've seen. He should an Article III judge.
