Shockingly and severely biased. Beyond all reason.

I think a day in the life of Judge Murray would likely make a great film or even a hour dramedy. Some of these defendants speak another language, part gang, part inmate its truly intriguing how depite being told, in no uncertain terms that rather than spend 9 years in state prison, this Defendant was almost time served and would be allowed tto participate in a rehab program. A new leaf perhaps for the Judge, and one that as a defense attorney I agree with usually. However, there were tell tale signs that this Defendant probabaly would not succeed in the program. Maybe it was the way he kept sarcastically calling Judge Murray "Sir". Its a language barrier but nto really its called sarcasm. I was getting to where I really wanted to just tell the Defendant, "Say Your Honor"... You are the "Sir" and the Judge is "Your Honor". To be fair, the Defendant was proclaiming how innocent he was although every other word out of his mouth could rightly be characterized as "assaultive". Back to Judge Murray. This entire country would seriously benefit from spending some years in the military. I only know this because of my father and some friends, however the general feeling that service imparts, particularly the "lives-in-danger" variety because it forces people to recognize that we need each other, that we need to respect each other, and that we are in this together. THe camaraderie transcends race, religion and everything else. Judge Murray, I believe, evokes this quality. I could not tell that he was a former District Attorney and I think ultimately thats a good thing in his Honor's position. He was sentencing inmates in a way that would quickly restore their freedom and hopefullly they will be thankful for that and commit less crimes. It would be nice to know that had a better than 20% chance of being true, however it is what it is. If you ever had reservations about this Judge, I think you would be pleasantly surprised by his demeanor.

it must be fun to have the kind of expertise Judge Murray does in fact have, in any subject, but particularly in one where the opportunity for shaping peoples futures presents itself on such a frequent basis. it could not have been easy to go from being what would be considered by many to be the top level prosecutor in a very busy County , to take that level of confidence that's required of trial attorneys who are operating at a level with so much on the line including the press including Pollock political opinion including the general public's opinion and etcetera and then to go to being a completely unbiased judge who is able to administer sentences with fairness and equity. Took him about three months. where is other judges sentence my client to 120 days in jail or 90 days in jail on the same judge Mary showed my client loved today and because of that I'm going to leave the content portion of this review to him in his words from his text message, here goes: "All is great!
