Michael H. Simon

I actively look for Judge Simon's opinions on legal issues that I am researching. His opinions are always complete, accurate, and extraordinarily useful. Once you find an opinion written by Judge Simon that is on point, your legal research is virtually done.

Simon wields a good reputation, but I believe it is not one well deserved. He struck me as very opinionate and one that pre-judges things, regardless of arguments that litigants present. On whole, I think him a mediocre judge, at best, and that is on his good days. Overall, I would avoid bringing a case before him if at all possible.
