`This judge is very fair and levelheaded. He seems to at least listen to attorneys and give them a chance to talk and explain situations and that is more than most judges. He also is willing to set things out and give a chance for issues ot be corrected

As a respondent in a temporary restraining order case and a conservatorship case, simultaneously, I was fearful and pessimistic after reading the other comments online, but after recent events which ended in both my cases being tossed and how he handled other litigants, outside my case, I've come to realize that Hon. Michael J. Rushton is an intelligent, unbiased, and fair judge. He makes decisions based on material facts and other evidence with high probative value, even if a respondent is absent during the trial. He is the best educated and impartial judge I have ever met in my entire life.
