Michael Mau

Judge Mau was a discovery and case management commissioner. In both those commissioner capacities he clearly favored the private employer defendant in our case, rotely accepting flimsy and incorrect arguments and even scrambling to add in arguments of his own to help defense. We were fortunate he was not the trial judge. Unless he reforms, he is likely to bring another Nazir v. United Airlines type decision on this court, in my opinion.
