All of the prior ratings on this site are accurate with regard to Judge McDaniel. He is possibly the worst example of what getting justice and your day in court means. It was obvious in the beginning of the case, he had sided with the male attorneys working for the insurance company. Our attorney is female. At hearings, Judge McDaniel would make snide comments and laugh with the male attorneys at our evidence and how ridiculous they thought it was. When our attorney spoke during hearings, he was visibly checking his 2 computer screens and ignoring her. When the male attorneys spoke, he gave them his full attention and took many notes. Obviously a misogynist. When he ruled against almost everything in our case, our attorney filed a motion for him to recuse himself due to bias which he immediately voluntarily signed. She had so much evidence of his incompetence, he had no other option. This Judge was recently interviewed for a newspaper article and when asked why he became a Judge, he said because he thought it would be "interesting". Shouldn't a person want to be a Judge to give JUSTICE to the people of Polk County? Also, there are openings in the Appellate Court in Polk County. He has submitted his name for the position. May God help every person in that county if he succeeds.
