Michele Towbin-Singer

Judge Towbin Singer IS BIASED and clearly favors in-state Florida parties over out-of-state parties. She will feel jealous of you if you've gone to a top-20 law school (that's better than the Boston University School of Law that she went to) and she will hold it against you, probably because she didn't get accepted to your law school. During our trial, she said to me "you being an attorney who went to Northwestern Law should have known ..." She clearly has her favorite attorneys, especially the former mayor of Miami who will chat her up and suck up to her before a hearing. Judge Towbin Singer should be ashamed of herself as a judge and she should be removed from the bench. I wouldn't trust her or want her as a judge, even as a traffic-court judge. Do everything possible to get another judge. Any other judge is probably a better choice. Have a court reporter at all times!

Kinda mean, can get personal. Does not like pro se anybody, the public or young attorneys. Has favorites. Observed this judge in action over many years and she is unpredictable even if the facts are clear if she does not know you.. Have a court reporter at every hearing. I have never received an adverse ruling from this judge. She seems to understand complex issues but I’ve noticed certain types of cases and people she prefers over others. She makes it obvious by the amount of detail she allows and from whom prior to ruling. These are merely my own observations.

Have to agree with the other reviewers that this Judge is passive/aggressive, appears outwardly pleasant though harbors a mean streak. If she doesn't like a party watch out for her wrath as it doesn't matter if you are a plaintiff or defendant. Will do anything to get a case off her docket. Will appear to be fair and require briefing and then will rule without allowing argument on the matter. Have a court reporter at all times with this judge.
