Ratings are of law clerk Vassalle since judge never gets involved. One-sided and indifferent to hearing the evidence, he makes up his mind about a case and does everything in his power to make the result fit his notion of justice. Needs to figure out how to be evenhanded, even if he doesn't think the case warrants it. That is the measure of true judicial impartiality.

Judge Lancman is bias and prejudicial. Does not want to follow the law of res ju dacata. She makes arguments for opposition when they aren’t even present. Makes comments that border Sua Sponte rulings. She got overturned by appellate term. Andrew Vassale her clerk is a clown

Excellent judge. Her decisions are well reasoned so even if you lose you feel that you are given a fair shake; that is all we can ask for.I an particularly surprised to see such hostility towards Mr. Vassalle.He is very professional, intelligent and most important, effective.The Judge clearly trusts him and for good reason.They make a great team and I just wish more Courts could operate this way.
