My experience with Judge Purpura was deeply troubling. I found her decisions in my case to be inconsistent and lacking a clear understanding of the law, which caused significant delays and confusion. Due to these repeated issues, I have filed a formal complaint regarding her competence to perform her duties. It is my belief that there may be underlying medical or personal factors affecting her judgment, and I have concerns about her ability to function effectively and fairly on the bench. I strongly feel that a thorough review of her fitness to serve is necessary to ensure that justice is being properly administeredI completely agree with the other reviews here. If there were an option for a 0-star rating, that’s what I would have chosen

Judge Nancy Purpura embodies the systemic bias and indifference plaguing family courts today. Her blatant disregard for fairness has inflicted unnecessary harm, as she consistently ignores critical evidence and fails to address clear instances of abuse. Families should not have to face a judge who upholds stigmas and makes life-altering decisions based on personal bias rather than justice. Judge Purpura’s court does not serve the best interests of families or children; it serves the interests of prejudice and unfair judgment. If there was an option to give her a zero, I would have she honestly does not deserve a one.

This judge gives abusers children. She mixes up cases. She lies and she makes up evidence. She needs to be investigated. Judicial review, the bar, fbi, the governor- investigating this women, what she is doing is illegal, stop her!

unprofessional and uninformed. Arrogant and angry jurist. doesnt know the law and clearly doesnt want to learn or do the job. its a shame for Baltimore county who has some rock stars on the bench. this woman is bringing their reputation down

By far the most unprofessional judge I have ever seen. Punctuality isn’t her strong suit but also when asked for a postponement for a case she immediately denied it and said before the trial started “I already have my mind made up”. Proceeding into the trial she smiles and winks at the opposing counsel which was very inappropriate. Doesn’t have the best interest of a child but has the best interest of someone she knows so their name isn’t tarnished. I wish someone would fire her or at least go review her cases since she isn’t a non biased judge.

I worked in the courtroom of this judge for about 8 months as a police officer court liaison responsible for assisting the States' Attorney to get officers called into court for trial. By the time I switched positions back to patrol, I was referring to Judge Purpura as "Her Highness." Behind the scenes, this judge expects court personnel to cater to her arrogance. From the extra padding she insists she needs in her already padded seat to always getting personally offended when someone disagrees with her on a point of order. She operates from a position of weak personal confidence so be sure to genuflect and pucker up with great flare and she will reward you with a better outcome regardless of the merits of your case. A true disgrace to the bench.

It's amazing reading other experiences the public has had with judge Purpura, and how similar my experience was with her as well. She removed a protective order put in place for the safety of my two daughters. She had all the evidence and testimony to uphold it, but I believe in my heart She wanted my children to be hurt. [Redacted by Ed.] There is absolutely nothing honorable about her... and if I could give her a rating of less than 1, she would have gotten it.

judge purpura is so unprofessional. she needs to be removed, she violates civil rights. she puts kids in the hands of abusers, she supports corrupt lying attorneys. it's outrageous the system has not done anything about this!!!!!

-o. Giving an update from 10 years ago from her ruling since the kids are grown. Because she can care less of evidence. Oh, and my ethnicity background, she made that clear. I have now to deal with a child with severe anxiety and personality disorder. Also, my child was sexually molested because she did not listen to the warnings, thinking criminals don't do anything. Thanks a lot!
