A typical example of politics at its worse. The white mayor realizes he made a mistake hiring her as his city attorney because of her incompetence but he can’t fire her because of her race. So he gets his sister, the U S Senator to nominate her to a higher level to get her out of his hair b
Chief Judge Brown is a dedicated, impartial, and highly intelligent jurist. She works tirelessly to ensure that all litigants receive the fair and correct outcome under the law.
Arrogant to make up for ignorance and incompetence. Slow in making rulings. Petty. Totally unqualified. The worst judge in the eastern district of Louisiana since Veronica wicker.
She is rude and condescending. She uses arrogance to mask her incompetence and demonstrate her superiority. Very slow in making decisions. Clearly the worst judge in the EDLA and probably in the entire 5th circuit.
Writes very educated and well-reasoned decisions. I've litigated multiple cases in front of Judge Brown and she has a great temperament and shows respect for both Plaintiff and Defendant.
This judge is not qualified for this position. She is intimidated by strong well known lawyers and responds with arrogance, rudeness and condescension in an effort to cover it up.
after almost 1 year of civil litigation, no jury, yet no verdict
May be the worst judge in the 5th Cir. Totally unsuited to be a trial judge.
Judge Brown has a great disposition, and seems to give every matter presented before her great consideration before ruling. Having said that, my firm has not been successful in her courtroom. However, we felt that she gave us a fair hearing.
I'd be interested to hear what she's like in criminal cases because she actually has to work on those. Can't give you much on the civil side because she continues everything and won't make a decision.
