Nina Gershon

Two recent experiences where Judge Gershon went out of her way to grant sentencing reductions in old cases. My impression was that the sentences had troubled her and she seized an opportunity in each case to do what she could. I found it impressive that she cared about these cases and these defendants -- so long after the fact and involving defendants who could have easily been forgotten.

Great Judge

Judge Gershon elevated herself above those in the Federal Government charged with protecting the United States from fraud and criminal activities. Obviously, she is one of the liberal progressives who believes her idealism justifies protecting an organization (ACORN) rampant with fraud because it supports her political beliefs.

Judge Nina, it is NOT unconstitutional to cut off the payment of billions of our tax dollars to a morally bankrupt organization like ACORN.

It is unconstitutional to be giving money to ACORN under any circumstances. She needs to read and study the Constitution along with the other liberals.

Acorn has crossed the line as a non-profit, are currently being investigated for fraud and more, you and acorn are stealing my tax dollars, giving them thru fraud to many people who do not deserve the help, more redistribution of wealth thru intimidation, nice work judge nina. Do we as a government, need to put a morals clause in all contracts, it would apply, I'm sure to organizations like acorn. Don't throw the Constitution up to us when you aren't following it.

Gershon; In my opinion, you do NOT rate honorable, that is for people who do not subvert the Constitution as you have recently done, with your helping of the ACORN hoods. This Clinton appointee has repeatedly stated her bias in matters of this type. She was the "go-to" judge for this injuction, based on her history ruling against Mayor Giuliani on the MetArt case.

Is she nuts?

It is good to know that there are a few judges who read and understand the US constitution. Bills of attainer were widely practiced by the Crown and were among the principal causes of the revolution, The Founders saw fit to outlaw them twice in the Constitution.

ACORN is a criminal enterprise and I'd like to know how the judge can rule it's unconstitutional to stop subsidizing these creeps. If Congress can hire them, they should be allowed to fire them. This judge is one of the reasons the U.S. is headed toward third world status.

Hon. Nina Gershon issued a preliminary injunction against the government and ruled that it is in the public's interest for ACORN to continue receiving federal funding. That's what I base my opinion on.
