Omar Rodriguez

I believe Judge Omar Rodriguez has demonstrated a clear and troubling bias against fathers and men in family court. Despite my submission of well-documented evidence showing I was the victim of domestic violence, he failed to acknowledge it and instead accepted improperly presented evidence at hearings, using it to make rulings against me. Before these proceedings, I was an upstanding citizen, deeply involved in scouting and my community. Even after my ex was arrested for domestic violence, Judge Rodriguez issued a restraining order protecting her—my abuser—while simultaneously keeping my child from me. Throughout this case, he has consistently ignored due process, dismissed credible evidence, and granted my ex everything she asked for, regardless of the facts.

Omar Rodriguez Does NOT have enough experience to be ruling in Family Law, which he stated himself during his election and yet he is a Family Law Judge! Rodriguez has been very bias in his ruling and I have statements from over a dozen women here in San Benito County who feel the same way! Rodriguez needs to be investigated! Women are still coming forward and something needs to be done about this!
