It appeared to me and my co-counsel that he does not like female attorneys. It's always "his way or the highway" with this judge. When I file, I pray that my cases do not end up in his court.

I recently tried a case before Judge Garcia and he was very fair to both sides, let us try our case, but kept things moving without preventing the sides from presenting fully and fairly. Very nice disposition and showed great respect for both parties. A pleasure to try a case before him.

Great Judge. Willing to research the law and come up with the "right" answer rather than winging it based on his own instincts. Will issue quick ruling when necessary.

Down to earth and no frills. Does not put up with nonsense. Generally affable, but can be temperamental. Very flexible in scheduling matters and possesses deep sense of fairness at sentencing. Best of all, bleeds burnt orange and white.
