This judge should not be the bench. Barely knows case law. Doesn’t want to deal with any complexity in a case, probably because he can’t understand it. Drags cases out interminably. He’s basically giving months of delays during hearings , sometimes years. He should be disbarred for not allowing justice to proceed in a timely manner. Ask any attorney who’s had him as a judge.

I represented myself pro-se. He was kind (he told the opposing party to treat me with decency and as if I were an attorney too.) I don't think things went my way at all; but at some point family law cases are based in trust in the oaths we take to tell the truth. They cannot do their jobs correctly in cases like mine when the dangers are not believable, and when the lies are. I still appreciate the judge for his service.

Miami Dade county why are you allowing this judge to continue on the bench? He is not cognizant of the laws, has no sense of urgency for urgent matters, and is careless on the bench. As a result he is allowing real harm and continued breaking of the laws to occur.

This judge failed to respond to a motion to recuse within 30 days of it being filed and had the audacity to defy Rule 2.330(l) and stayed on a case even though, per the Rule, he was deemed disqualified!!!! This action is unheard of, yet the "dishonorable" Rodriguez-Fonts did it!!!!

The delays in getting even simple hearing by this judge are ridiculous to the point of denying due process. He is incompetent.

Absolutely incompetent and lazy judge. Impossible to get hearing dates, doesn’t seem to understand legal issues at hand and doesn’t care. Terrible, terrible judge.

Good luck setting any matters before this Judge, it takes months to get a special set than another few months to get a ruling. The Judge is slow, does not read anything in advance, and refuses to hear things on motion calendar, even simple motion to compel. It is ridiculous. Pray for a rotation out of the circuit civil division.
