Judge Shoker is the most evil, hateful disgusting judge I have ever seen in my life. She is not acknowledgable of the law. Who appointed her again? Governor Gavin Newsom you made a huge mistake when you appointed her. She HATES women. Does not look at evidence. Make rulings with no facts, She rules for the men no matter what. She is a racist. She is bias, and unethical. She is DANGEROUS and a disgrace to the Contra Costa County family.

Judge Palvir Shocker don't have career ethics. I have been abused seriously by my ex-husband. In the restrain order hearing day, she later about 20 minutes, my ex-husband and his attorney didn't show on the court, they later about 15 minutes show on the TV screen. They must planed it in advance. That is illegal or criminal.

"Step cautiously with Hon. Shoker" -- My client was enormously pleased with the Hon. Palvir Shoker. I appeared for and with my client, who faced an OSC request due to noncompliance more than a year after his divorce had settled. She was unrepresented and asked only for what was in the judgment he signed. This guy evades her service for three months then files his own enforcement rebuttal - Shoker hears his enforcement before her OSC (that's a new one to me) - and almost entirely instead of the totally valid OSC.

My experience so far with this judge, she seems to actually look at the evidence. At the end of the day there has to be some good judges in Contra Costa County. I’m keeping the faith with Judge Shoker. Especially after being in front of Judge Wendy Coats. She terrorized me and my family. Destroyed my daughter’s character because she just didn’t like her. It was hurtful so to watch.

Horrible. Completely violates due process. Scrutinized preapproved ADA accommodations in open court. Has taken countless children away from one party to another for no legal reasons! Does not seem to even understand family codes or EVER apply them. No legal basis for rulings. Ignores motions filed by the party she doesn’t favor. Has no business being a judge.. did she even go to law school?
