Judge Young is nice, courteous, and is part of that generation of judges who try to make everything appear fair.

Judge Young is nice, courteous, and is part of that generation of judges who try to make everything appear fair. I have had more than a dozen cases in front of Judge Young since she took over from Judge Stern. I miss Judge Stern, both his calendar efficiency and his BS detector. Judge Young is not the most efficient but not the least efficient either. She should triage better and make more of an effort to ensure that longer hearings are placed at the end of her calendar.

Great judge. Impartial and sees right through lies. Won't accept any non-sense in litigant's testimonies.

I appeared before Judge Young in a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) matter and was deeply concerned by the apparent bias demonstrated toward my client, even prior to the presentation of any testimony. Despite the relevance of certain evidence, Judge Young refused to admit it, preventing the introduction of material that would have shown the Petitioner’s attempt to fabricate their case in order to gain undue control over their children and the family home. As an attorney committed to the principles of fairness and justice, I find the conduct exhibited by Judge Young to be highly troubling. The bias and lack of respect she showed toward my client raises serious questions regarding her impartiality. I strongly urge the State Bar to conduct a thorough review of her conduct and the cases over which she has presided. If her actions are found to be in violation of ethical standards, appropriate disciplinary measures, including the potential revocation of her law license, should be considered.

Judge Young, if you are reading this, please study covert narcissism and please believe the child when they say they are being abused, and place them with their safe parent. If you’re not sure, please don’t guess. Order a custody evaluation and/or minor’s counsel to be the child’s voice.

Extremely biased and once she makes an opinion about you, there is nothing you can do to change that.

Extremely biased and once she makes an opinion about you, there is nothing you can do to change that. She also ignores tangible evidence of perjury and if she doesn't like you, will take the side of the other person no matter how much evidence you provide to prove the other party is lying. She also favors women and shows clear distain towards men in her court room. I sat in her courtroom for an entire day and in every case, you could see her take whatever the woman said as fact, and ignored anything the man said even though it was supported with actual evidence.

The dishonorable judge Young is completely biased against men and no matter how much evidence you present she will side with a female who is proven to lie and has no evidence of their claims. She should be removed from the bench immediately and all her previous cases retried.

You are lucky if you get this judge! She absolutely knows the law so if you have an ex who is trying to pull nonsense, you can rest assured that she will see through it. I wish all judges were this knowledgeable and unbiased.
