Patricia Nieto is allowing Civil Contempt for matters already litigated and ruled on by the very same dept, she further involves herself [Redacted by Ed.] by facilitating service of process. Ultimately, respondents are forced to RE-Litigate the very same Contempt Counts regardless of NOT GUILTY rulings. Due to the quasi-criminal nature of the charge and possible incarceration Patricia assigns FREE ATTORNEY aka IDCO Independent Counsel Bar Panel. Appeared in front of this female judge and observed her call several cases. Patricia mimics previous family Dept managing judge Amy “ shoots from the hip” Pellman whom was forced into retirement 2022 ( Judicial misconduct )Patricia doesn’t hide her low patience, entitled tenure, and poor temperament.

Pedantic, Arrogant, Lazy, come to mind. Doesn’t bother to read or apply responses however will mislead litigant “ you’ll have an opportunity at the next hearing”. The elder judge displays further arrogance by asking petitioners female attorney “ what else do you want”. Patricia “ liver spots” Nieto delivers inadequate work product. Shame on her & her family.

As an elder herself it’s alarming to see the level of judicial misconduct Patricia practices with. Patricia ignores a contempt motion filed with Elder Abuse claims supported with evidence. She did this to satisfy a large firm’s attorneys baseless request ensuring a fellow elder would remain isolated. Due to Dis-Honorable Patricia Nietos’ judicial misconduct the Elder/ my mother remains under her abusers in-checked control. Patricia is arrogant and follows nefarious practice standards set by dis-honorable retired Amy “Shoots from the hip” Pellman. Patricia, fellow Elders need your support PRACTICE BETTER. Shame on you Patricia Nieto.

Nieto is just as described. Unfit and should consider retirement. Those Liver spots are coming in nicely. Lady its time you step down, you have over stayed your welcome and just filing space,youre not doing anyone any good. Believe me when I say Its for tyhe best.

Had 2 encounters with this woman.Heavily biased against proper litigants,Her lack of case details and pleadings filed give un obstructed view to her lack of intrest in reading the pleadings.On a personal note just last week I saw her call a contempt case that included claims with supporting evidence of ongoing Elder Abuse. Nieto called it then opposing counsel spoke and Nieto was under submission. Without adressing or glancing ove the complaints made she continued the case to allow oppoisng to file pleadings. 2 cases afterwards 2 young sibling law students attending Loyola Marymount School were called, Nieto heard the case but more importantly Nieto was intriuged by the young law students and enagaged in personal non case related dialog with them enamored with law students far more than with contempt cases that includes Elder Abuse factoids. Nieto- 'We just hear that case in February, lets do February 20th ok? ok bye" Proper- "judge where here today for contempt OSC and you havent heard it" Nieto " oh will you look at that the other party has disconnected, we cant hear the case anymore" Sums up Nieto accurately, its not welcoming when at the start of the hearing 2 attorneys ask eagerly ask the clerk " Is judge Ochoa her today?? Nieto rewards partys in contempt as long as they have tits and a vertical smile. That lady is not well appropriated to sit behind the bench. Please Retire Or Go Home ( if your home didnt burn baby burn )

Judge Nieto decided in my client's favor, but I was surprised she did not appear to understand a point of law I thought was basic. The 7 I gave for scholarship is based only on that. All in all, I would probably not exercise a peremptory challenge against her the next time around.

I agree with previous comments. She is appointed to Pasadena court house . Domestic violence herrg judge . She is gender bias , does not read your DVRo responses before court . She granted child custody 100% to a narcissistic suicidal ex wife . She scotched domestic restraining order on lies and did not let me present my evidence. Horrible judge .. hope karma gets you .

The WORST Judge ever. she is very arrogant argumentative and just unpleasant to speak with. She has a bad attitude with men specially Hispanic men. I saw her twice go off on two men for no reason.

Judge Nieto lacks judicial temperament. She is rude, insulting, and biased. She either does not understand the law, or has no respect for it. When a Judge becomes a King or a Queen, that is the end of justice. It is time to end Judge Nieto's Monarchy and return the rule of law to the Court.
