Patrick Pekin

He is biased. He is unfair and unreasonable. He practices law from the bench, takes part in ex parte communications, has a bad case of "Judges Disease", and should not be a judge. He is arrogant, plays favorites with litigants who have the highest net worth, and goes out of his way to act like he is God. He judges his cases with blinders on and has no common sense. If you want a fair hearing, ask for another judge to hear your case.

Listened carefully and even allowed defendant testimony that was unrelated to the case to encourage "due process" for the sake of the prevailing party.

The worst judge ever. I was unlucky to have him as my judge. He was completely incompetent. I went to many court hearings with judge Patrick Pekin and I noticed he didn’t make a single decision to any of the people who were there any time. Absolutely waste of time and energy judge. I would give him a zero if it’s possible.

I’ve sat through many of Pekins cases and no matter what he will side with men/fathers. He is blatantly bias and if you have “friends” or acquaintances in common, his ruling will reflect that. Why is family court making rulings that support healthy parents being ripped from their children. Mendocino county is cutting off public access of records to hide the corruption. When running for judge he actually stated that he believed small towns like Ukiah are less corrupt. He actually believes Mendocino county has had an honest history. Does he even know the history in the area, doesn’t sound like it.

Awful! Favors fathers and people that can afford attorneys. I know several kids that he’s put in harmful environments, allows fathers to continue abusing the mothers, and now children are spiraling downhill fast. Needs training in coercive control, attachment theory, pathogenic parents, domestic violence, cultural humility, bias, and the list goes on. Horrible this person has devastated families, ruined children’s lives. Another good ol boy joins the Mendo Club.

This Judge is new in Mendocino Superior Court but definitely know how to follow [Redacted by Ed.] Judge Cindee Mayfield's lead. He is incompetent has no heart and cruel. Perkin deprived me fundemental rights of fair trial and ruling against me on every single issues and deprived all our legal rights. Well done, you will receive blue ribbon of corruption soon!

I am pro se litigant. A mother with young child, domestic violence victims, was kicked out a family house by my abusive Ex. I filed a motion to disqualify Judge Cindee Mayfield who rules against law and deprived all our legal rights to favor opposing lawyer [Redacted]. The court assigned This new Judge Pekin as the Trial judge. He just became a judge not long. I prayed that he is fair judge but this little man is totally awful! He is incompetent and mean. He was under the supervision of Cindee Mayfield retaliated me crazily by filling the motion to disqualify her. He refused to give me a chance to provide evidence in Court, and eagerly want to end the trial. He took out a PRE-PRINTED paper, which was prepared before Trail. When he read final judgement, the opposing lawyer corrected his mistake on the paper, it is obvious the opposing lawyer knew what was written on the paper! I cannot believe what I saw! The judgement is so unfair, EXACTLY what the other party wished. I BELIVE the final judgement was prepared by the opposing lawyer! Nothing was granted to me for 10 years marriage, no spousal support, no marital property devision. Instead of that, I am homeless mother with young child was asked to pay$ 160,000 to my ex, [redacted by Ed.] absolute nightmare for Mendocino litigants!After seeing him and Cindee Mayfield as judge , you’ll understand [redacted] Nothing was ruling based on law.
