Great majistrate judge. Masterful in settlement conferences.
Judge Frazier may be one of the most skilled mediators in the country, which makes him an excellent Magistrate Judge. He has an uncanny ability to get down to the core issues of any case. Losing attorneys may not like his style because he can be harsh and gets annoyed by attorneys who overargue their case. Understands the business side of lawyering very well. I cannot say I agree with the posts that say he is pro-plaintiff. He is not interested in favoring one side over the other. His mission is to resolve cases, which is what ultimately makes him a great Judge.
Unabashedly obvious in his bias toward individual plaintiffs and against corporate or insured defendants. Has developed his own, unique rules of procedure and discovery. If you're a plaintiff, you can't dream up a motion silly enough that he won't grant it. If you're a defendant, forget it.
In our opinion, this judge is heavy-handed, biased and willfully ignorant of the rules.
Lacks basic understanding of federal rules & authority. Makes decisions based on emotion rather than law. Overall a poor judge.
