The inmates are running the asylum in Part 31, and that is putting it mildly. Incompetence from every direction; the staff, the clerks and, most of all, the judge. These people are incapable of filing even basic documents on their own dockets without them being riddled with errors (scanned upsides, wrong dates, missing instructions, out of order, etc.) Walking into this Part you will be greeted by the slovenly clerk; shirt untucked; unkempt; forgetful; and putting in just enough effort to appear to be doing something to earn his pay. Then there's the judge -- a true specimen of everything that is wrong with the legal system. Let's put it this way: If there was a fire in your office, Judge Solages would stop to make sure everyone carefully read the directions on the back of the fire extinguisher before using it (ensuring that they were read and understood in all languages), even as everyone burns to death around him. He would then chastise the charred victims for their imprudence and haste. The man is utterly incapable of applying the law, logic, or sense, and has the temperament of a child that believes they are center of the universe. Judge Solages cannot see the forest for the trees, which means his rulings always go in a direction that neither of the party's anticipated, nor advocated for. Why? Because Judge Solages rules for himself -- because it is more important for him to mindlessly engage in empty theoretics than reaching a correct result. At the end of the day, the man is terrified to make a firm ruling on any issue; he'll mutter to himself on the bench; stick his nose in his books; shuffle his papers; twiddle with his yellow highlighter; bite his lip incessantly; make phone calls to his court attorney; in short, he'll put on a big theatrical production to convince onlookers that's he's thinking, and then at the end of all the theatrics, he'll come to a conclusion that can only be described as a Frankenstein's monster comprised of all the w
