Polly H. Shamoon

[Redacted by Ed.]She's both a judge and a DA on the bench. She has no respect for the law or my rights. In the course of presiding over my habeas petition under the Racial Justice Act, she has violated court rules, Legislative Intent in Assembly Bills, case law holdings by higher courts, the civil code of procedure, and the penal code. She lied in her order denying my writ, she took facts and evidence out of context, failed to provide me discovery under the RJA, and failed to disqualify herself because she worked for the San Diego DA's Office when i was prosecuted, who was the subject of the claims being challenged. Me and my family were called "camel jockey's", I was discriminated against by the San Diego Police, DA's Office and Court when I was referred to as a "terrorist" and "middle eastern." I am serving a 50 year to life sentence for a non violent crime under the 3 Strikes Law, but Polly Shamoon doesn't care about my rights. [Redacted by Ed.] I will not stop bringing attention to her [Redacted by Ed.] on the bench until she is disbarred. She's so incompetent she has been reversed by her court of appeal at least fifty times per Lexis Nexis. As another person commented, "[Redacted by Ed.]

Just a really bad judge. Does not do her homework and heavily, I mean heavily relies on the DA to give her the facts of the case when the facts are incorrect. She does not like to be corrected and will punish you for doing so. She goes on scenarios that could happen versus what really happened. She lacks the judicial temperament to be in that position and should be removed from doing the job of judgeship. Hopefully, she will be voted out or there will be a really bad case that she will completely mess up and hit the news and you will have a lot of folks coming out saying that Judicial branch should have done it's job due to all of these reviews. Just a completely horrible judge.

I would rate this judge as a 0. Absolutely the worst of the worst and does not even read her police reports to get the right facts of the crime. She just goes by what the DA says and does no leg work herself. How is someone like her on the bench. I hope voters vote her out in the next cycle. She is a disgrace to have in the San Diego court system. I will also be filing a judicial complaint on her.

Bad Judge all the way around, and everyone knows it - including those who censor this website's content. Polly maintains her public servant courtroom status per the California State Bars unconditional endorsement that discourages any "qualified" attorney from running against her on the ballet. Currently, Polly's tenure has been extended until 2029. This judge makes Nathan Fletcher and Donald Trump look like a saints !

She is a horrible biased judge and a worse human being-tries to be superior to all who enter her courtroom-should really be fair from the start. In American we are innocent until proven guilty by a jury of or peers, not by a control freak bully masking as a judge in a robe to be so unfair and biased is a disgrace to the judicial system….

Alert! This judge has no regard for defendants civil or constitutional rights. She is vicious! Long before my family member has had a trial or sign a deal she has stated exactly what they did and they are guilty. Well judge I am not going to sit by and let you get away with this behavior. I have already begun my complaint to the Judicial Review Board as well as the Governor of California. She wants attention? Fine I will make sure she has a lot of it from as many of her superiors as I can. Maybe she thinks she is the smartest person in her courtroom. Sorry she has met her match here and I do not give up. Disgrace to the entire Judicial System.

During the last few months we have been dealing with Judge Molly, my wife and I had nothing to say but to thank God for having her residing over our daughter’s case. Judge Molly was not only compassionate and professional in her dealings but she literally saved our daughter’s life, without her keen judgment and understanding we could have done very little ourselves and without her sold attitude nothing at all

Every lawyer I know ranks her as the Worst Judge in San Diego. So glad they moved her out of the Settlement department. She hates Defendants and wants them locked up as long as possible. She has no heart and doesnt care. She is rude to defense lawyers in court. SHe is a DA in a black robe. You never want to appear in front of her. She NEVER rules in the Defendants favor EVER. I cant wait for her to retire.
