He forgot to take off his prosecutor's hat when becoming a Judge. Typical for Placer County - overly deferential to the prosecution, unwilling to exert any pressure or influence on the prosecution, even when they are unreasonable - basically just a rubber stamp for anything the prosecution wants.

If I could give a zero, I would. Judge DeJesus is irresponsible, judgemental, and cavalier with his judgements. With zero evidence provided, and the case that started a request for a restraining order being dropped by the DA for nonsufficient evidence, Judge Raymonn Dejesus granted my ex a permanent restraining order. There was never any history of abuse, in the almost 2 decades we were together, we never had a single altercation. The breakup was heated but it was blown out of proportion. We argued over a bag. I researched the parameters of the grounds for a restraining order, there needs to be a pattern of documented abuse, or if it is based on a one time incident, that incident needs to be severe in nature. My ex had a slight mark on their arm from the strap of the bag that was being pulled back and forth. My life has been systematically destroyed ever since he so casually handed my ex that piece of paper. He did not think for one second the ranmifications of the long term effects of such a serious judgement, I'd say worse than a felony charge. I cant find employment, I can't get assistance through the county or state, I cant get custody of my children. On and on it goes Judge Raymonn DeJesus should be removed from his position and be required to go through a rigorous relearning of the law. It wasn't myjob to show why my ex shouldn't get a restraining order, it was my exs job to prove with little doubt that it was needed, becuase it wasn't. Judge Dejesus's ruling caused the dismantling of a family unit, such severe strain on my children that my 12 year old had to be put on a 5150 hold. My children had to go five months without seeing me because after that my ex dragged out mediation and everything else to prolong the seperation and my inevitable pain, not thinking about our children for one minute. Judge Raymonn DeJesus is irrresponsible, and hasty to grant severe punishments with no basis for them. He has decimated countless lives and should be criminally
