There is a thing called a Silver Bullet Divorce where a woman claims DV and the judges fell all over themselves to hand over custody, support, and sanctions. It destroys families, scars children permanently. Judge Reyna is known as the biggest supporter of this Strategy in the Bay Area's 9 county region. She cannot see when she is being manipulated. Cuts men from their children and considered it a form of progressive sophistication to express naked bigotry and allow unbridled as hominem attacks against toward white males in her courtroom. Dv claiming lawyers are permitted to testify extensively as experts in judge Reyna's courtroom.

These 5 or 5 ratings can only be from women litigants. Or they're written by Judge Reyna's clerks who are part of the express of anti-white-male hatred coming out of this judge. This judge is dangerously biased.

Judge Reyna literally rules in ways the put litigants in conflict with federal law in order to favor the female against the male litigant. She is utterly incompetent. File immediately for a change of judge if you client is male. Judge Reyna rules like a DEI Stanford grad with a chip on her shoulder - activist judge all the way.

Even after 2 years in the bench, Judge Reyna is as unqualified to fill her role as the day she started. She comes to court unprepared. She loses her temper routinely. She shows shocking bias - particularly against white men who she seems to hate deeply. She literally is unable to rule in fair of a man. As a matter of law and justice, she must be removed from her office. She is destroying lives.

I hav coaches, refs, and umpires make calls against me. I respect their calls even if i dont agree with them because i see them as competent and honest brokers. [Redacted by Ed.] She makes up her mind before hearing facts. ruiles, and if my lawyer speaks up, she shouts her down and gets hostile. she allows the other lawyer to talk and talk becus it supports her plan. the other team had two lawyers. judge R let them both talk like they were experts on financial topics. Never seen anything like it. Crushes your mentl health to know the ref is going to make you lose no matter how well you play. If she's ruling by the law, she shouldnt need to shout anyone down. should be able to state her decision with respectful disagrrment

In a word or two: biased and hateful of white men. I had to appeal two of her decisions because she (or her clerks) didn't even read my court filings. When I retuned to judge Reyna's court she (or her clerks) was furious and ordered exorbitant fees. So naive. She is extending this divorce by making it "free" for the party she favors. It will never end if it's free for one party. Not a judge. Doesn't evaluate merit. Judges based on identity - female social warrior.

In a word, Tangible Bias. Judge Reyna openly normalizes bias against men, especially white men. It's pervasive. Examples: she permits relentless personal attacks against a man in filings and in the courtroom but jumps in reflexively and forcefully to defend the slightest aspersion against a woman. She asks a woman "are you ok?" when she enters the witness box. She never asks the man. Hmmm. She mutes men on Zoom sessions. never the woman. She rules citing the woman's briefing and appears to not bother reading the man's briefing. She permits 2 of the woman's lawyers to opine on topics creating a false sense of consensus while the man's lawyer is cut off after a sentence. All of these things could be excused as efficient command of the courtroom if there were not pervasive, consistent, and ultimately tied to rulings that are lop-sided. If i had to guess, she's too inexperienced to have sorted out based on time on the bench that women are not consistently virtuous, in need of her protection against men. As a result, Judge Reyna's lens of of female victimhood, makes her vulnerable to being duped by the false female victim. If you're a female litigant, your job is to get her to feel you've been bullied, are having problems getting money, are raising the kids, have no career, etc. Judge Reyna's core belief set jumps to attention and destroys the man. If you're representing another victim class, you probably experience a similar pattern. If you're part of the male patriarchy, she views it as a matter of sophistication to harm you.

Judge Reyna is a great jurist. She is smart, kind, and has a great temperament. I don't know what these reviews about her bias are about. She, unlike most judges in SMC, is not beholden to what the DA wants or demands - she is beholden to facts and the law. I've had many hearings in front of her and she doesn't always rule my way - but she is always fair.

In a word, Judge Reyna is a naive social warrior steeped in the Stanford ivory tower. She views herself as tilting the board against the white male patriarchy. Indeed, she no doubt views her naked prejudice against white males as not only acceptable but a matter of sophistication. How does it show up? She is highly vulnerable to being duped by a litigant playing the part of victim, particularly if female, particularly if dark complexion. When Judge Reyna is presented with a victim narrative from a dark female, she gobbles it up without any attempt to pretend due process is being respected and equal protection under the law is a consideration. She provides "free litigation" to said victim" and is perplexed when the case never ends. Naive. Easily duped. Unable to rule against a woman. Dangerously biased judge. Loses temper when contradicted by facts. Is rarely prepared.

Temperamental, rude, unprepared, and biased. What more needs to be said? She rules as a political activist (groomed in the race/gender/sexual orientation victim reparation dogma taught at Stanford) rather than statute, due process, and equal protection under the law. Judge Reyna is a monstrous public official who should be disqualified from wielding power.

Judge Reyna is rarely prepared, shows temperament in almost every hearing, shows bias in most hearing. It's hard to imagine how Stanford University has created a law graduate so unprepared for this role. Defendants are going to prison that should not and being released that should not.

No tax paying law abiding citizen should have to come to court knowing that, no matter what the issue, whether you're in the right or the wrong, the judge will rule against. you. Judge Reyna is that judge. After 5 years, Judge Reyna has never ruled against my ex wife on any issue. Even when my ex stole $100s of thousands of dollars, failed to disclose accounts, credit cards, and years of payments on a home without me on the title, Judge Reyna refused to hold her to account or even compel discovery. There is no justice in Judge Reyna's courtroom No due process. Judge Reyna is an social activist untethered to statute or notions of justice for what she thinks are male devils. Get out before you get started.

Judge Reyna is so strongly biased against any litigant who has been accused of Domestic Violence that it creates an irresistible source of power for divorce attorneys and women. Years after a minor event Judge Reyna is still silencing men accused of DV and ruling uniformly in favor of their alleged victims. Court filings are filled with personal attacks without evidence and Judge Reyna gobbles it up without a flinch. Any divorce attorney observing Judge Reyna's absolute rejection of equal protection, years after an event, will bring exaggerated and fabricated DV accusations to the forefront of every hearing, filing, and motion.

I don't know how to express this in legal terms because i am not a lawyer. Judge Reyna seems to believe that if a person has been accused of domestic violence, they are a sub-human not worthy of any protection under the law, no matter how trivial and no matter how many years have passed. She shouts down my lawyer, mutes my lawyer (an experienced top law school graduate), expresses fawning concern for my ex wife allowing her to lie and ramble emotionally, 6 years after our separation. Maybe this is par for the course but this bias in a judge seems to encourage "Silver Bullet Divorce" tactics which ultimately undermine the cause of true victims of domestic violence. Judge Reyna seems blinded in her rage and prejudice, maybe based on some personal experience?

I am not a lawyer or a judge. But I have been in Judge Reina's court sadly for five years. I cannot get out of her court because she grants my ex anything that she asks for. Is irrational for my ex to stop suing me so long as Judge Raina grants her anything she requests. Judge Reina has destroyed my mental health, my career, my self-respect, and the process continues… I cannot explain what it feels like to have such a powerful person hate me so deeply. My experience is that Judge Reina walks into the courtroom with her mind made up, shows no interest in hearing my councils fax or data question accepts everything my ex represents without evidentiary Support, and is unswayed by any fact or data point my council provides. I am desperate and cannot receive equal protection from this person who has extraordinary power over my life.

Sadly, Judge Reyna's tangible biases, amplify and extend conflict and ultimately harm families and children. By taking sides, she emboldens and encourages litigation from one party. The other party feels they are not receiving equal protection under the law and attempts to beg for consideration, requiring more litigation. If Judge Reyna had the Judge skill of making both parties feel heard and ruling with balance, and discouraging the litigating party, she would help families heal rather than litigating forever.

You cannot imagine a judge who is more intemperate, biased, thin skinned, and unable to present even a charade of neutrality. She takes the female litigant's RFO and begins ordering it line by line without soliciting any adversarial briefing at all. If the male litigant's counsel attempts to speak up, she chastises him for "interrupting" yet she never grants air time, and certainly not balance airtime. This is NOT a judge. She's been on the job for 2 full years and she has not improved. If the male litigant himself attempts to clarify, she mutes his microphone in less than a second and threatens him with sanctions. Shortly after, she lets the female litigant carry on at length about her "feelings", her "hopes", her "stress", and make ad hominem attacks at the male litigant - no muting, no scolding, nothing. At the end of the hearing, she notes the female litigant's request for sanctions but entirely "forgets" the male litigant's request for sanctions - mind already made up?
