Judge Darwin has the very type of calm, respectful temperment that should be required for any judge. He knows what is important and what is not, treats attorneys and parties with courtesy and respect, knows the law, is thoughtful, and takes his job seriously. My clients have won some and lost some in front of him, but I can never complain because his rulings are considered and fair.

Superlative judge. Cautious. Deliberative. Reads the pleadings and understands them. Exceptionally patient and straightforward with rude pro per litigants. He is the least sexist, least classist, least racist judge that I have ever seen. I could not detect a hint of discrimination from him. Completely fair and impartial. I did not get everything I wanted. But he adjudicated based on fact and law, and he properly articulated the reasons for his decision. I give him 10 of 10.
