Courteous, evenhanded, patient and overall a fair-minded judge. An asset to the bench.

This judge is a George W. Bush appointee, and is not impartial at all.

I had a case transferred from the DC courts, and not only was I denied the opportunity to obtain local counsel, I was denied a jury trial. This case was not in his jurisdiction and was not transferred to Annapolis, Maryland. The transcript was altered, and this judge engaged in judicial misconduct.

He listens well, works hard to get it right, to make litigants and counsel feel they are getting their day in court. He is better for white collar than drug criminals, partly because his experience of the world is narrow. In civil cases, he enjoys presiding, enjoys the interchange with counsel and works hard.
