I am a single mom who is facing marriage fraud and domestic violence from my ex-husband. I attempted two suicides because of him, and I am suffering from PTSD and depression. He abused me and my kids. He made me lose my job and made me stop my education. I finally had the courage to bring my assaulter to court, even when I didn't have the money to hire a lawyer. Since I wasn't able to articulate myself well enough to the judge, my lawyer did not prepare me at all for the case, the Judge was extremely rude and didn't want to listen to me because he was an extremely old man and wanted to go home more than he wanted to work with me. I don't understand why he is working in the court if he cares more about going home and being tired than listening to the case. Because of this, he dropped the case and now I am in fear of this criminal coming to my house.
