He uses ChatGPT to write his orders.

He uses ChatGPT to write his orders. He rules on cases that aren't assigned to him. He is the "Writ of Innocence" gatekeeper for Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. It's funny to see actual lawyers call him arrogant.

This judge is ignorant and has a very elementary grasp of complex litigation.

This judge is ignorant and has a very elementary grasp of complex litigation. In private practice, he did nothing but uncontested divorce so on the bench he is a total mess. Constantly reversed by the appellate court. Terrible temperament.

If I could rate “zeros” across the board I would.

If I could rate “zeros” across the board I would. Demeaning, only talks about himself. Self aggrandizing nonstop. Creates a hostile work environment. Literally screams at attorneys and litigants. Shows obvious favoritism -as in -literally doesn’t hide it. His courtroom is a study in the “good ol’ boys network”. (Unless you’re the child of a good ol’ boy). He is mean. Doesn’t know the law. Uses his illness to excuse his behavior. Needs to be retired.

I have had two civil jury trials with Judge Trunnell.

I have had two civil jury trials with Judge Trunnell. He can be very pleasant and wants to reach the correct result. He is also forgiving to counsel for missteps. We did really battle with him in one case, but had the wind in our sails in the other.

Most arrogant judge that I have ever appeared in front of. He thinks he is always the smartest person in the room.
